Pedagogical competence and teaching accompaniment in pre-professional practice in EPEF students - UNMSM, 2021

Objective: To analyse the relationship between pedagogical competence and Pre-professional Practice in university students. Materials and Method: It is a correlational investigation that analysed two variables with the application of two questionnaires addressed to 80 students, whose responses were processed using the SPSS statistic. Results: In the statistics, a very good relationship was established (Rho = 0.920) between pedagogical competence (adequate) and pre-professional practice (satisfactory). In the same way, it was verified that the dimensions of the first variable (pedagogical - managerial, Institutional, productive, interactive and specifying) are related to pre-professional practice, evidenced in the following relationship levels: Rho = 0.702, Rho = 0.742, Rho = 0.722, Rho = 0.672 and Rho = 0.732. Conclusion: The sample showed conformity of this type of competences for their practices before graduation, however it is not the opinion shared by all students, who consider that they have not yet acquired the skills and experiences necessary to exercise the teaching career.Downloads
