Objective: To evaluate how inclusive architecture influences the creation of high-performance sports spaces for disabled youth in the district of San Juan Bautista, Ica - 2023. Method: A qualitative approach was used, with a basic type and phenomenological design. The sample included four specialists in inclusive architecture and ten public sports facilities. Two data collection instruments were employed: first, an interview guide aimed at gathering specialists' opinions on inclusive architecture, and second, an observation sheet used to evaluate the facilities based on their level of adaptation for disabled individuals. Results: The specialists highlighted growing interest from public authorities in inclusive architecture applied to sports spaces. However, this interest is not significantly reflected in the existing infrastructure, which shows a low level of adaptation for sports practice by disabled youth. Conclusion: Inclusive architecture has a considerable impact on the creation of new accessible sports spaces, which is essential to promote the participation of disabled youth in high-performance activities.Downloads
