Abstract

Objective: This study aims to determine how resocialization, psychosocial, and educational programs influence the social reintegration of juvenile offenders in a closed environment. The study seeks to analyze the impact of these interventions on the reformation of attitudes and skills of minors who have been in conflict with criminal law and are deprived of their liberty. Material and Methods: A basic qualitative approach with a grounded theory design was used. Data collection was conducted through interviews with professionals specializing in juvenile criminal law and rehabilitation programs for juvenile offenders. A structured interview guide was employed to analyze perceptions regarding the effectiveness of the social programs implemented in closed rehabilitation centers. Results: It has been determined that the proper implementation of internal rehabilitation policies, when objective and up-to-date, enables these minors to readjust to society. Consequently, it is evident that these programs influence the reintegration of juvenile offenders, successfully guiding the reformation of their attitudes and skills. Conclusion: The processes carried out in favor of the social reintegration of juveniles in conflict with criminal law effectively contribute to their reintegration into society, achieving their reentry in an appropriate and optimal manner.
